When i lived in Florida i always used Seagaur Red Label flouro leader in the saltwater and when i finally found that they were selling it by the 175yd spool i decided to try it on my baitcasters
so i spooled my Curado, Citica, Johnny Morris and Revo with #20 Red label
First thing about this stuff is it VERY smooth casting and has very little stretch. but my favorite thing about it is it is SUPER SUPER sensitive, i'm talking i can feel everything with this stuff! ( not quite as sensitive as braid but damn close!)
this last weekend i was out on Nessmuck and the water was gin clear (well super clear for for nessmuck lol) and the #20 is pretty damn hard to see especially for #20
Over the last year i have fished this stuff in heavy pads, blowdowns, brush and int he rocks and this stuff has laughed at the vast majority of it, the abrasion resistance is top notch for sure
i've fished big frogs in pads, creatures and jigs in every cover i could find, and thrown spinner baits, jerks, spooks, cranks and plastics with stuff and have not had a break off or knot failure yet!
love this stuff!
Pros: super sensitive small diameter for 20# cnearly invisible very little stretch great knot strenght great abrasion resistance PRICE! 12 bucks for a 175yds at the Tackle Shack
Negatives Gets a hair stiff in the cold but thats a common problem with any flouro line
